Outdoor Film Screening: Harriet

2021 @ 8:15 pm - 10:30 pm

$5

June 17, 2021• 8:15 PM—10:30 PM • Concord Museum & The Robbins House
Suggested ticket: $5.00 • Advanced registration required

The Robbins House partners with the Concord Museum in a screening of Harriet on the eve of Juneteenth to celebrate and continue the conversation raised by Harriet Tubman’s life. This award-winning Own Voices film directed by Kasi Lemmons and starring Cynthia Erivo expands our understanding of this well-known, and almost mythical, figure and puts her real-life experiences into our minds and hearts. The path to freedom is dangerous and challenging. Harriet Tubman reminds us of what was sacrificed for freedom and why we need to continue the path to equity.

Supported by Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area.
