Support The Robbins House this #GivingTuesday

“For while we have our eyes on the future, history has its eyes on us.”
– Amanda Gorman

Dear Friend of The Robbins House,

We have exciting news to report! The Robbins House has begun the process of hiring a full time Executive Director, whose work will take our largely volunteer-based organization to the next level. The work of this director will improve our visitor experience with virtual exhibits, digitize content, enhance our outreach to local schools and other museums, and add to our program of activities. We gratefully ask for your support in helping us raise the 50% match for this Institute of Museum and Library Services grant.

In 2022 we acquired a Cuban Plantation Bell from the Belmont Hill School to tell the local stories of how the Caribbean sugar trade impacted the region. Our summer graduate intern, Camille Johnson, helped shape this project through the sponsorship of the Concord Museum.

With your help, we can continue our good work and provide ongoing support for our new Executive Director.

To accomplish this, we’re seeking:

  • 10 generous donors to give $5,000 as members of our Ellen Garrison Society,
  • 25 supporters to give $1,000 as members of our Caesar Robbins Society, and
  • 50 contributors at $500 as members of our Jack Garrison Society.

We thank you for taking this journey with us,

Maria Madison and Rob Munro, Co-Presidents
