Celebrate Black History Month with a PBS Film & The Very Latest Research on Concord’s African American History
– Presented by The Robbins House & First Parish in Concord
On Sunday, February 28th from 4-6pm – The documentary Slavery By Another Name, based on Douglas A. Blackmon’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book, will be screened at First Parish in Concord, in partnership with The Robbins House. Afterward, Historian Dr. Robert Gross will introduce Robbins House Scholar-in-Residence John Hannigan for a discussion of his latest research about Concord African Americans and how it relates to the film. Please join us for the conversation!
